At Expansive Strength & Fitness, our mission is to ensure fitness is accessible and equitable for all. In line with this, we proudly offer a 'Pay What You Can' class every week, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to join. For our other classes, while there's a suggested price, we recognize it might not be within reach for everyone. If you find this to be the case, feel free to use a coupon code to avail a discount of 5% to 15%. And if you're in a position to help, you can add a tip or pay above the suggested amount, supporting others on their fitness path. Together, let's foster a fitness community that's both strong and inclusive.

Small-Group Classes
Strength and Conditioning
Duration: 60 minutes
Schedule: with Shannon Walsh on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9 AM*, and with Shannon Wheel Tuesdays at 7 AM (sign up with her here)
Pricing: Recommended price of $31.50 per session. Special "Pay What You Can" no-minimum class every Friday.
Class Size: Limited to 5 participants for personalized attention.
Dive into a dynamic blend of strength and conditioning exercises in our total-body workouts. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fitness enthusiast, our classes are tailored to suit all levels. We use a diverse range of equipment, from suspension trainers and kettlebells to treadmills and stationary bikes, ensuring a versatile and effective workout experience.
Each session brings a fresh format, keeping you engaged and challenged. Whether it's a 500-Rep Day, an AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible), ladder drills, or minute-reps, there's always something to look forward to.

Strength Class

Elevate your strength training with our structured 12-week Strength Class. Over this period, we delve deep into one core movements each class, such as the barbell squat on Mondays and the bench press on Wednesdays. This progressive approach ensures you build maximal strength systematically and efficiently.
Focused Training: Mondays and Fridays are dedicated to lower body strength (either squats or deadlifts), while Wednesdays target upper body.
Holistic Approach: Beyond just lifting, each session incorporates mobility exercises tailored to the day's movement. We also practice various techniques to refine form and enhance performance.
Structured Rest: Unlike our Strength and Conditioning class, the Strength Class emphasizes mandated rest periods. This ensures you're fully recovered and ready to give your best in each set.
Track Your Progress: Witness your growth firsthand. We use an app to encourage participants to track their progress, offering a tangible measure of the strength gains achieved over time.
This class is geared toward people with prior barbell experience. Our Strength Class is a journey of empowerment, showcasing just how strong you can become. :)
